Use & Care
Getting started: Fan the reeds out and insert them oil-side down. Flip all reeds after 24 hours to saturate them fully, then weekly thereafter for a consistent scent throw.
Adjusting intensity: Use fewer reeds for a subtler fragrance; add more for a stronger presence. Remove reeds entirely for a rest period — this also extends the life of the oil.
Placement: Position in an open, well-ventilated room such as an entryway, living area, or bathroom. Gentle air movement (e.g. near a doorway) will naturally diffuse the fragrance further.
Surface & stability: Always place on a stable, non-porous surface — glass, ceramic, or sealed timber — away from soft furnishings and fabrics. Use the protective coaster provided.
Avoid heat & direct sunlight: Keep away from windowsills, heaters, open flames, and direct sun, which can accelerate evaporation and alter the fragrance profile.
Spills: If oil contacts a surface, blot immediately with a dry cloth. Avoid rubbing. Reed diffuser oil can mark or stain porous and painted surfaces — place on a protective coaster at all times.
